European Blackjack Gameplay

European Blackjack has a little more to learn than regular slot games but once you have the rules down this game is a lot of fun. European Blackjack is played with just two regular sets of cards, with no peek and the dealer must stand on 17. Other general rules of gameplay include the option to split one time, to enable the player to make two hands. Ten combined with Split Ace doesn’t count at Blackjack, but it does count as 21.

You are also unable to split unlike value ten cards. Insurance Rules are also included within gameplay. This are a type of bet which stands at 50% of whatever the current value is. These insurance bets then play out if the dealer hits Blackjack. Double Rules are offered if the player receives an 11, 10 or 9. If you choose Doubling, you will gain one extra card.

The final rules within European Blackjack are Split Rules. Choose carefully though as you can only split once within the game; you can split on the dealing if double cards, but you cannot split on a face card or a ten. Whilst gameplay may sound a little confusing, it is really easy to pick up once you are in gameplay, so don’t let this put you off!
